Cathedral Sacramental Preparation 2026-2027
Registration for 2027 sacraments is now open! Please register by June 30th to include your child in classes beginning this fall in order to be prepared to receive sacraments in 2027:
- The Sacrament of Confirmation for school-aged children will be on Sunday, April 4, 2027 at the 11:00 AM Solemn Mass.
- First Holy Communion will be on Sunday, May 2, 2027 at the 11:00 AM Solemn

- Parent Orientation
- In-Person: Sunday, September 6, 2026, 11:15 m.
- Online: Tuesday, September 8, 2026, 7 m.
- Day of Service & Kick-Off Celebration: Sunday, September 27, 2026
- First Day/s of Classes: Weekend of October 3-4, 2026
- First Holy Communion: Sunday, May 2, 2027, 11 m. Solemn Mass
- Confirmation: Sunday, April 4, 2027, 11 m. Solemn Mass
To Participate in Sacrament Preparation, please submit the following:
- Registration: English | Spanish
- Children are eligible for First Holy Communion starting in 2nd grade
- Children are eligible for Confirmation starting in 7th grade
- Copies of Certificates for Sacraments Received
- Letter of Eligibility for Sponsor (Confirmation Candidates Only)
- Letter of Permission from Parish to Receive Sacrament(s) at the Cathedral Basilica (Non-Cathedral Parish Participants Only)
