The Office of Catechetical Formation invites parish catechists and Directors and Coordinators of Religious Education Programs throughout the Archdiocese of Philadelphia to participate in the annual Mass for Religious Education which will be celebrated by Archbishop Nelson Pérez in the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul.

At the conclusion of the liturgy, the Archbishop will present anniversary awards individually to parish religious education catechists and Directors/Coordinators of Religious Education. With great joy we extend our congratulations on your nomination by your Pastor and Director/Coordinator of Religious Education for a catechetical award which honors your years of dedication .

This year Bishop Fitzgerald will receive the highest catechetical award, the Paul VI award, for his significant contributions to evangelization and catechesis.
