July 3rd Day of Charity

As we approach the celebration of our Nation’s 250th Birthday, the Archdiocese of Philadelphia invites all parishioners to participate in the July 3rd Day of Charity.

This special initiative is an opportunity to express gratitude through service by supporting those in need within our local communities. Parishioners are encouraged to take part on July 3rd, or at any time during the week before or after the holiday, recognizing that summer schedules and travel may vary.

All are invited to participate through acts of charity and service such as donating or volunteering. Creative “250-themed” efforts are especially encouraged, including initiatives like collecting 250 cans of food for a food pantry, 250 diapers for a pregnancy center, or 250 pairs of socks for individuals experiencing homelessness.

To learn more about local opportunities to serve, please consult your parish bulletin or scan the QR code provided.

Together, we celebrate our nation’s milestone by living out the call to charity and solidarity.
