The Basilica and Cathedral Chapel open at 9:00 AM.
9:00 AM – Morning Prayer in the Cathedral Chapel
Good Friday is a universal day of fast and abstinence. This Paschal Fast continues until the celebration of the Easter Vigil.
Three Hours of Prayer in the Basilica
12:00 Noon – Office of Readings;
1:00 PM – The Way of the Cross;
2:00 PM – Choral Meditations on the Passion.
3:00 PM – Celebration of the Passion of the Lord in the Basilica (Livestreamed Mass)

Easter Sunday of the Resurrection of the Lord, April 20, 2025
8:00 PM (April 3, 2021), Easter Vigil in the Holy Night in the Basilica with the Sacraments of Christian Initiation for Adults (Livestreamed Mass)
8:00 AM, 9:30 AM – Solemn Mass,
11:00 AM – Solemn Mass (Livestreamed Mass),
and 1:00 PM – Solemn Mass (in English and Spanish) in the Basilica
2:30 PM – Order of Baptism for Several Children in the Basilica
There will be no 6:30 PM Mass on Easter Sunday.
