All the baptized are consecrated in Christ to live his Gospel way of life, the Christian Live. Among the baptized, there are those called to live this life of consecration in a more profound way with the vows of poverty, chastity and obedience in the company of others. On Sunday, September 1, 2024, everyone is invited to the 11:00 AM Solemn Mass at the Cathedral Basilica to celebrate the gift of the consecrated life. In a special way on this Sunday, we will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Institute of the Religious Sisters of Mercy of Alma and the gift and witness of their consecrated life to all of us.
