On Saturday, September 21, 2025 our parish will have an observance of Catechetical Sunday.
All catechists are invited to the 5:15 PM Anticipated Mass, for the blessing of our Parish Catechists.
Pews will be reserved on the cathedral side for the catechists and their families.

Our theme this year invites us to be ready witnesses of our faith, always prepared to share the hope we have in Jesus Christ. Just as Saint Peter encouraged the early Church, we are called to speak of our faith with gentleness and respect. In a world longing for meaning and direction, our words and actions become powerful tools of evangelization. We are reminded that our call to missionary discipleship includes not only boldness, but also compassion and humility as we share the source of our hope.

Nuestro tema de este año nos invita a ser testigos activos de nuestra fe, siempre dispuestos a compartir la esperanza que tenemos en Jesucristo. Tal como San Pedro animó a la Iglesia primitiva, estamos llamados a hablar de nuestra fe con amabilidad y respeto. En un mundo que anhela significado y dirección, nuestras palabras y acciones se convierten en poderosas herramientas de evangelización. Recordamos que nuestro llamado al discipulado misionero incluye no solo audacia, sino también compasión y humildad al compartir la fuente de nuestra esperanza.
