Greetings in the Lord!
The Coronavirus Pandemic has in one way or another impacted all of our lives over these past several months, and most likely it will continue to do so for the months ahead. I encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on the Lord who is always near to us and ready to come to our aid. I also encourage you to return to the in-person celebration of Mass on Sunday, especially if you are healthy and can do so freely. All of us need to eat and drink the Body and Blood of Christ.
An immediate impact of the fallout from the virus for many has been financial, including our Cathedral Parish. Please do not take offense at this request. This letter is an appeal to you to support our annual Parish Fall Collection (formerly known as the Block Collection) to offset our many expenses. The Sunday collections and our additional sources of income are insufficient for us to meet our financial responsibilities, especially at this time. I sincerely appeal to you, with consideration for your own financial circumstances, to make a gift contribution of at least $200 to this Parish Fall Collection. Your contribution, no matter the amount, will be truly appreciated and will be a great help. Your contribution may be made electronically, returned by mail, or in the Sunday collection basket with the enclosed envelope. For your information, an outline of this past year’s financials and comments can be found here.
Please consider making your weekly offering to the Cathedral Parish electronically. You can do this by following the steps outlined on the Cathedral Parish website, https://secure.acceptiva.com/?cst=f32367. Please complete the enclosed Parish Registration Form only if there is any change to your family membership. You can return this form with the Parish Fall Collection.

La pandemia del coronavirus ha afectado de una forma u otra nuestras vidas durante estos últimos meses, y lo más probable es que continúe haciéndolo en los próximos meses.
