Having Masses Offered
One of the spiritual works of mercy is to “pray for the living and the dead”. We pray for the living for many reasons: healing, conversion, success, strength, etc. We pray for the deceased so that they may be forgiven of their sins and enter eternal life.
The best prayer that we have, for any person or for any reason, is the Mass. It’s always been a good spiritual work of mercy to have Mass offered for a person, especially the deceased.
There are many Masses, both weekdays and Sundays, that are open and available in our Mass book. If you are interested in having a Mass offered for someone, please stop by our receptionist office Monday-Friday 9:00AM—4:00PM. Each Mass is a $10 stipend.
