The Shrine is located within the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul.

Visitors are welcome to participate in the Cathedral’s liturgical life and to spend time in prayer at Saint Katharine’s tomb.

If you choose to take public transportation, these are the closest stops to the Cathedral Basilica:

  • Broad Street Line (BSL): Exit at “Race-Vine Station” and walk about 4 blocks west toward 17th and Race Street
  • SEPTA Regional Rail: “Suburban Station” (16th St. & JFK Blvd.) is just a 0.2-mile walk (about a 4-minute walk) south of the Cathedral Basilica
  • SEPTA Buses: Buses #2, #32, #33, and #38 also stop very close to the Cathedral Basilica
