Each year on March 3, the Church celebrates the Feast of Saint Katharine Drexel. For the Shrine, her feast is a particularly joyful occasion to give thanks for her life, seek her intercession, and recommit ourselves to the Gospel mission she embraced.
The nine days leading to Saint Katharine’s feast provide a special opportunity for prayer and preparation. The Solemn Novena begins February 22 and concludes March 2.
During these days, we invite you to join the Shrine community in asking for Saint Katharine’s intercession and reflecting upon her life of faith, courage, generosity, and service.
