Father Chuck Pfeffer’s Challenge

On Saturday, August 15th and Sunday 16th, Father Charles Kennedy will speak at all the masses and make an appeal for the annual Mission Appeal. He represents Fr. Chuck Pfeffer’s Challenge, an initiative celebrating the memory and ministry of Father Charles Pfeffer, a deceased beloved priest of our Archdiocese.

Over the last eighteen years, donors to Fr. Church’s Challenge have provided more than 1,700 homes for desperately poor displaced families, previously living nearly homeless, in plastic and plank shelters, in an area frequentely ravished by tropical storms – in the Northerm Highlands of Nicaragua and in hurricane ravaged Haiti. Current efforts have housed homeless in Honduras where the work continues.

Donations to the Mission Appeal will benefit Father Chuck’ s Challenge. Checks may be written out to the parish.
