We encourage you to participate in ongoing outreach. When 40 Days For Life campaigns are not taking place, we continue our outreach efforts at the local level with the Side Walk Servants Campaign. The commitment is simple: one hour of your time in front of an abortion center each month until lent. 12 babies would not be alive (fall 2018) if it weren’t for the people who participated this fall’s 40 DFL Campaign. Is Abortion Such a Big Deal?
How can we hope for peace in our communities if we allow the killing of our most innocent and defenseless human beings? If we are willing to commit sin and murder children in the womb to get our own way, to not be inconvenienced, then how can we expect peace?  Likewise, are we willing to continue to overlook the strong pro-murder, anti-life agenda of many politicians and elect them into office? It is our responsibility as Christians to protect all lives, especially the most vulnerable. Our actions must be coherent with our faith.
“Demonstrate your faith to me without works, and I will demonstrate my faith to you from my works.” James 2:18

“By abortion, the mother does not learn to love, but kills even her own child to solve her problems. [Abortion is] really a war against the child, and I hate the killing of the innocent child, murder by the mother herself. And if we accept that the mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another? … Any country that accepts abortion is not teaching its people to love one another, but to use violence to get what they want. This is why the greatest destroyer of love and peace is abortion.”  -Mother Teresa of Calcutta (St. Teresa of Calcutta)

FEATURED VIDEOS:

– Gracious and respectful way of encountering people with different ideas:

“Stephanie Gray, internationally renowned speaker and author, applies the Socratic method and storytelling to the debate surrounding abortion. She invites the audience to be “pro-conversation” on a topic that can be one of the most divisive, and demonstrates that it is possible to be gracious and respectful when encountering different ideas.”

Sidewalk Advocates Training Video

Sidewalk Advocates training is an opportunity to learn how to be the hands and feet of Jesus on the sidewalk in front of abortion centers. It helps you to have the confidence that  His influence and strength will allow us to love these men and women where they are.  It teaches us how to effectively and lovingly offer alternatives to these people and engage in conversations when the moment arises.  It allows us to bring peace, prayer and love to where it is needed most.  It helps us to be the voice for the voiceless. Main tips start at min 14:51:

– NEWS: Alfie Evans

Alfie Evans died on April 28, 2018. Our prayers go to his family and those who denied him care.
Recommended article: “With the tragic government-sanctioned actions ending the lives of toddler Alfie Evans and infant Charlie Gard happening less than a year apart, it’s now a good time to restate two maxims. First, socialized medicine fails at protecting the sanctity of the dignity of all human life. Second, being pro-life and being for socialized medicine are loyalties in conflict, not in congruence…” Read in full here.
