Cathedral Parish Vigils and additional events For Life

The Cathedral Parish will lead the prayer vigil in front of Philadelphia Women’s Center, 777 Apple (8th & Arch) on Wed. October 11, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and on Wed. November 1, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at Planned Parenthood on 12th and Locust.

Sidewalk Advocates training is an opportunity to learn how to be the hands and feet of Jesus on the sidewalk in front of abortion centers. It helps you to have the confidence that  His influence and strength will allow us to love these men and women where they are.  It teaches us how to effectively and lovingly offer alternatives to these people and engage in conversations when the moment arises.  It allows us to bring peace, prayer and love to where it is needed most.  It helps us to be the voice for the voiceless.  Get a head start by watching the video below (main tips start at min 14:51):
